View Full Version : Filename of current max file open?
erilaz 03-17-2005, 02:40 AM Hey gurus, I've been scouring the dictionary for this one (damn, max has a lot of file operations!), but I can't seem to find a function for grabbing the name of the currently open maxfile. Am I stupid, or is it slightly more obscure than a simple getCurrentFile?

Congratulations!
You just got your own entry in the MAXScript Reference's FAQ section! :)
The 7.5 revision of the help will contain a FAQ topic explaining the maxFilePath and maxFileName globals. (Yes, you are not the first one to ask about them this week!)
