Title: Character: Zoe (nudity)
Name: Boris Jahn
Country: Germany
Software: Realsoft 3D
Here is my new character Zoe. She is something like a funky/punky gothic fashion girly. She loves weird things like spiders :)

Great work, but in my opinion skin is too bumped
I like it anyway!

Looks pretty good
- I agree with the skin being too bumped
- The image could use some anti aliasing, you can see a few jaggies on her halter top (or whatever it is)
- Her expression is maybe a little bit "doll" looking dunno exactly how to describe it.
- I think the hair looks good

Hi,
That is amazing. As I'm still a complete beginner with animation, I'm in awe of this piece of work. I'm particularly impressed by the hair. How do you manage to create such beautiful looking hair on a model??

Its very nice, it kind of looks a little like a poser model to me though

drop the shininess of the skin and lower that bump. also lose the shininess on the bricks in the background, bricks arent shiny :D, and its way too distracting.
edit;/ oh yeah, close her eyes just a touch. right now she looks like she's about to eat the spider!

figure, and model are great, but this all is too plastic-skin and wall. Too much bump!
I don't know if it's a bump problem. It looks like you went in with the Photoshop Sharpen tool and tried to sharpen in some areas.
That or it's rendering artifacts, but it's a good model and good character work!

No i have to agree also the skin does look a little on the bumpy side so it doesn't really go with the reflectivness, try turning down the reflection a little or just turn down the bump.
But other than that it looks pretty good.

A big thanks for your comments! Yes you are right ... the bump is too strong. It apears partially because I only had this high bumpsetting for the body part by accident. It's a pitty I didn't noticed for this final render I posted. I'll change this!
@RW152: I use Realsoft 3D Version 5 which had lots new hairrelated tools in the latest update. This hair is done with about 600 nurbs curves which I painted with an airbrush on the surface of the head. The 600 curves get interpolated to over 10,000 curves while rendertime.

Well done Boris! This model is done using Realsoft3D, so Poser is *not* used ;)
Maybe you can add a screenshot, showing some wire (and some new icons ;) )?
