I use Rhino allot and have exported in the past in many different methods, IGES, 3ds, and a 3dm importer for max, but now obj has peeked my interest, I like the fact that layer names say with the object in MAX.
So the question is... how or why is the obj mesh in MAX have a Faceted look when rendering, I have my poly count up and my models aren't looking any different than when I imported using other methods.
I haven't had allot of time to spend on playing with getting the right combination.
I was wondering if it had to do with scale in Rhino vs the scale in MAX. I model in Rhino using inches allot.
Well if you obj experts out there have any ideas, I will be very thank full.
