Hey all just thought i'd post this object I made to help me bring in my sketches and such into C4D. Basically it takes a 8.5" x 11" aspect ratio graphics file (just redirect the luminance and colour channels to your file) and maps it unto a guide box for you:

Included is an adobe acrobat file that you can print out, sketch on, and scan back in. Or you can just modify a copy of the texture file, cutting and pasting your views onto the template or drawing right on the template.
Hope it is useful - i went with 8.5"x11" because it seemed a logical choice for paper sizes people would probably be using.
What do you think?
Oh yeah here's the actual project: http://preik.net/c4d/files/3view.zip
