well akewt im going to post a link to a recent v5Infinite render made by another user (Robert Czarny) since it is one of the best vue made renders iīve seen so far and it also shows of the eco system feature of v5Infinite in a realy nice way and you wanted to be convinced to buy v5Infinite :)

Itīs in my eyes a pretty impressive and massive render so check it out.

All of the above renders are great. The EcoSystem is a must have.

Looks like I will have to put my plans for getting Poser 6 and the Sony PSP next week on hold and put that money towards Vue Infinite. Look forward to joining and learning in this forum.

Probably a good idea at the moment. E-on and Curious Labs are cooperating on an improved SDK for E-on to use to enable Poser 6 import (Infinite only handles P4-PP-P5 at the moment)and clean up some of the existing issues between the apps, which will be very good news to those of us who enjoy the 'poor man's pipeline' of Poser and Vue. If you've been to Phoul's site (www.belino.net), then you've seen what Vue in almost any version can do in skilled hands. And if you haven't been there, you should. More than one animator has been inspired to get started there...

This is a study on ecosystem an realistic lighting ... I used ecosystem for the trees and ground. And also the drystone walls wifh are populated with standrad Vue rocks on primitive like cubes ...

Very nice image 'pmermino' !

Perfect light settings! How long was the render time?

Hi ...
the render time was about 25 minutes with my 2.5 Ghz P4... This is standard lighting mode ... if I would have used GI ... may be 6 hours ... but here the result is good with standard light...

Had Vue for, hm 2 months, jsut got Infinite, so learnign with it :)
Used Bryce for years, but...sigh *hugs poor bryce*

Using ecosystem, not being adept as yet, I just booleaned a copy of the terrain to organize nice neat squads..turns out I could have used a grayscale image, lol.
Note for foreground trees up, close increase detail, hence this tree is not so good. Am learning as I go.
And I LIKE the blasted haze in this scene, it's meant to be a Summer morning in a small, stuffy river valley, there is method to my madness! (he says, aimed at some complainers, hehe)
