One thing iv wondered for a while is, if you are an amazing animator, does this almost ensure you will get an amazing job? I mean, are good animators in high demand? or are there awesome animators all over, and it takes luck to land a job no matter how good you are. For example, lets pretend (in a far off galaxy, in a time that may never happen) that i am as good an animator as Bobby "Boom" Beck. If i was that talented, am i pretty much ensured a job at ILM, PDI, Pixar, etc etc, or does it still take alot of luck? Basically i guess I’m asking, Is your success in this industry soley dependent on how hard you work and how good you are, or is there still alot of luck involved? I mean, i don’t care about the money, give me an internship..lol.. But someday id love to work on the projects such places have going on.. Thank you for the responses ahead of time :). I look forward to seeing everyone views on this.
