View Full Version : Is there a plugin for selecting outer edges?

Hi All !
Does anybody know if there’s a plugin that allows one to quickly select the outer edges of a polygon object? (See image) It would definitely speed things up for me :)

I don`t know a plugin for that purpose, but a possible workaround.

1. select all edges
2. shrink selection
3. invert selection

i'd say it works in most cases and 3 clicks are ok

Slightly easier methods:

1) use the loop selection tool and check "Select Boundary Loop"; or

2) select all polygons and run Selection>Outline selection.

Yeah, but since not everybody has a release 9, my answer might not be completly useless :-/
