Hi, does anyone here still do any onsite drawings or sketches?

what i mean by this, is going out to an area (say for example, the seaside) and sit down and start drawing??

i have to do some "onsite" sketches of buildings, churches, etc but its been a while since i have done this and need a little jump start.

does anyone have any good little tips or anything?

many thanks

Haven't done that for a very long time,so i haven't got any tips.
But it would be a nice idea to make this thread similar to the speedpaints thread, except it's with outdoor sketches. If you set the example ,i think i will join in on that.
just an idea.

Heh, I first thought you meant on-line drawing (Oekaki).
Anyway, I hate drawing "out"... I feel stared at.

i was thinking the same. but i also wondered how in heck i would drag my wacom tablet and computer out to the nature.

I long has been wanting to do some nature paintings, exspecially sky and clouds.
