View Full Version : Alpha Channel Trouble

Okay, this is actually an Adobe Illustrator problem, but I was hoping someone here could help me out.

I have never had this problem before, it's only arisen since I got my hands on Illustrator CS. When I import a raster image with an alpha channel into Illustrator it works fine, but when I print it out the transparent part of the raster image becomes an opaque white.

Any suggestions?

Sorry to throw an Illustrator question into this forum, I thought someone may be able to help. No need to worry though, after much investigation and hair tearing, I found the solution. For anyone who gives a rats, there is a print setting called "print as bitmap". Make sure that box is checked and robert's your mother's brother!
