View Full Version : Roaming Eyeballs
Animare 09-22-2002, 03:45 AM Hi,
Im still learning so bare with me, I've finished a character rigged him up in CS, and have geospheres for eyballs seperate from the mesh. How do I link them to the biped/mesh so they stay exactly where they are supposed to be..or is there a better method for eyeballs?/accessories eg sunglasses that are removable
Thanks

Select the eyeballs (if they're in the right place), then select the Link tool and drag from the eyeballs to the head of the BIP.
Hope this is what you were after,
:D

Thanks, I do this but sometimes in some poses the Eyballs still pop out of the mesh?

Hmm, could this be because the mesh is deforming around the eyes? in whic case you may have to link the eye's to the skin using a face constraint (not sure if thats the correct name, but is in constraints), problem with this is flipping. Better solution is to model the head and skin so that it deforms in a more realsitic manner, i.e. the eyeballs remain fixed and the skin deforms arounf them (like the ole real world articles....). Make sense?
