Or in English : " Vertigo from Ifendhal ".
Ifendhal is the name of the futuristic city showed here.

In opposite of my first cover Alunha showed before :

Ifendhal is a much more complicated city with a lot more activity.
I wanted to show it with a weird perspective and an unbalanced character.

Done for class as a cover of a book of French Sci-Fi "bande dessinée" ( french comics ).
It's still a bit rough , but I quite like the atmosphere , so wanted to share with you and see what you think of it ;)

Wow, really nice work! Ready for the finished forum in my opinion. Did you draw this with wacom tablet or on paper? The sketchy lines that build up the characters are beautiful. Great colours too. Is there a high-res available? I look forward to seeing more of your work :)

It IS nice work. I like the skewed perspective in the first picture, but can't help asking a few questions about it. The spaceship that's whizzing by - are those headlights the front of the ship, and are the two guys in the cockpit sitting side by side? If so there's a slight perspective problem -- we'd see more of a profile of the left guy. Also, is it the guy at bottom center who has vertigo (causing the skewed perspective)? If so, I'd have him take up much of the foreground -- he's not very noticeable as he is and I can't "read" his pose. If the image is meant as a 1st person view (the viewer has vertigo) then I'd move the center guy to the side and have him doing something less conspicuous.

I like how clean the second image is, and the highlights on the ship hulls look great. If this were a conventional seaport, though, I think you'd see the side of one ship rather than the bow of several ships. I might have the wrong idea though since it's for a sci fi comic.

Nice work, especially for a class project.

Yea the characteur on the foreground is the one with vertigo.
Thanks for your comments, that really helps ;)
I'll try to fix that.

I like the work the values really help it work, Yeah but I feel you got some bogas perspective things to adjust, upsides that its a fun idea to look at.
