View Full Version : Duplication woes!
leeloo 03-13-2005, 06:27 AM hello everybody!! question about duplicating!
I have created an eyeball with a locator and a lattice..... I am trying to duplicate and create the other eye by selecting the eyegroup including locator and ticking the box Duplicate Input Graph. This duplicates the eye which I have scaled in -1 but as you can see, I just get this pink eye!! It isn't hidden or anything... can't seem to get it to work!!
Help!!

have you tried reassigning your materials to it? I know sometimes in maya, il do something (sometimes not sure what I did..lol) and it turnes into a really thick, green mesh looking object. But all i have to do is go back in and reassing the materials to it. Dont know if this will help, but let me know. (also, what package are you useing..it sounds and looks like maya, but just to be sure. also if this doesnt help, might try asking the question in the section for that package. Becuase this seems to be more of a software issue than a modeling issue :). you might get some better feedback if you post it in like the maya section, if its maya. good luck to you :)

Hi
The Pinkness is because it is on a layer that is set to template but is selected none the less this is the default colour for this unless you have changed your setings
and looks like it is in a diffrent layer than the rest as you have shaded the rest the other thing it might be is template is set in the drawing overides part in the atribute editor
Let me know if that helps or if you need a hand again
