View Full Version : Interested in purchasing Messiah:Animate.
RKanyama 03-12-2005, 08:00 PM Hello all! I am interested in purchasing Messiah:Animate or Studio for the stand alone workstation. My question is - does the software come with any type of video tutorials? I, like a lot of people, learn much easier by being shown what can be done.
Thanks!
Cheers,
Ron K.

I've only just recently purchased messiah (workstation) and have found the docs pretty easy to read and comprehend. My copy of Messiah didn't come with training videos but there is a small collection of videos available on the web from various sources you can download.
The videos on the messiah site are a pretty helpful intro to some of the programs features and serve as mini tutorials,I find myself going back to them everytime i want to play around with one of the effects.
Theres also some pretty nice video tutorials put out by some of the messiah users on this forum. Here are some of the ones I've found very helpfull so far:
Julez4001 's Vids at

The Pose system video is especially good.
Quick Rigging Tutorial by Michael Blackbourn

and if you go to ....
http://www.controlcage.com/DemoVideos/
there's a tutorial on setting up a reverse foot setup.
I've found Chikega's messiah renderer video tutorials excellent

There are some training CD's you can buy from Joe Cosman which are supposed to be pretty good.

I've tryed to order some of these but the checkout system doesn't seem to work ?!? (at least not for me).
Maybe you'll have better luck. Hope that helps.

Thank you RexVectar,
I will have to take a look at those links. I really like the things that I have seen so far from this program. I appreciate the reply!
