fun compositing gig i worked on, check it out:

we shot the rider on a turntable, he was actually riding it while it was rotated if you can imagine how hard that is. the set and vehicles etc was made from location photography, we had to shoot over the course of the day to get the day to night transition.

Nice! Maybe a bit faster to be a bicycle, but I love it. Great job!

Technically, it's very well done.

The ONLY bummer is that the bicyclist is looking DOWN the whole time!

I'm guessing that he was riding on training "rollers" and, unless you're very experienced at riding on rollers, it's almost impossible to ride without looking down...

Otherwise, very ambitious and effective! :beer:

not only riding on rollers, but riding on rollers being rotated 360 degrees on a fixed gear track bicycle, it was pretty tough and i can hardly blame the rider.. he is a top track racer and professional bike messenger, if he cant do it without looking down, i bet its pretty hard.. and on our schedule there was no way to fix the eyes in post, although i really wanted to try that just to put it over the top :/
