If you just want rain you can always just do the first steps, not the more advanced dripstuff :)

He is like my god of effects and 3d lol.
Well any ways what i do i just create some spawns and dont forget to add age test delite.
I dont think you want extra 500000 particles off screen siting and not doing a thing.
Except that it is about the same as guy showed :)
