Hi...I have to make a decision of choosing the bast value for money compositing and visual effects software.

My obvious choices are combustion and DFX+ with modules. Majority of our work will revolve around commercials and maybe even films in the future.

My choices revolve around combustion and DFX+ with modules 1,2,3,4,6 & 7 for around 1200$...are there any other professional/cheaper alternatives

I would like to know an unbiased opinion of which would be a better choice for us...DFX+ or Combustion.

Would DFX+ 8bit be a problem for commercials?

hi there,
if you compare the prices i guess combustion is pretty cheap and in combustion 4 you also have diamond keyer which they have it in flame and also it supports 16 bit if its for broadcasting purpose after effects is also a good option.
