Dear all,

On the Windows platform, I want to reset modo back to it's default, clearing all my custom configurations, scripts, layouts, hotkeys and so on like it has a fresh installation. My approach is to deleting modo.cfg and letting modo generate it again.

I first tried searching for:
1) C:\Program Files\Luxology\modo
2) C:\Documents and Settings
modo.cfg but failed. I tried searching it from all the local harddrives yet still in vain.

Can anyone kindly suggest? Thank you.

Yours sincerely,
Charles

Almost there:

Documents and Settings/User/Application Data/Luxology

And one wish: Could you stop cross-posting identical questions around several boards? It feels kind of strange and doesn't make it easier to help people like you. No need to be fearful and "play it safe", someone will always see you.

P.S.: You might need to change your folder view options - Application Data is a system folder and invisible by default.

Dear Mylenium,

Thank you for your help. It is most likely because the 'Application Data' folder is invisible that I could not find modo.cfg.

The idea to posting to various newsgroups is only to make my questions and sharing about modo able to reach more people, no intention to elicit annoyances indeed; though if it turns out to be offensive to the newsgroup moderators, I will make according adjustments immediately.

Thank you for your advice.

Yours sincerely,
Charles
