I like it alot, very cartoony! Why don't you make a ground for him? It always helps to have a point of reference to what he's walking on.

Hey, this is great blocking! I can really see the character trying to keep "light" on his foot as he sneak-walks. It's got a nice overall feel.

However, i did not really get the hip shifting in the middle of the piece. I know it's in the early stages, but theoretically one should completely understand what is going on even in the blocking stages. I know that's hard to accomplish.

I'm eager to see your finished walk.

Oh, maybe in the steps, he may need to lift his foot up more. These are probably the main key-poses and you haven't included them yet?

Some characters so not lift their feet up when they sneak...but the lack of up-down motion caught my eye.

Iīm getting the feeling that the animation is somewhat uneven. Sometimes you have these quick pose positions and next you have these smooth poses. Is it because some are more pose to pose and others not?
Is this animation going to be smooth or more pose to pose-like?

Work those keys frames!

thanks for your replies!

Now I have updated my sneak-walk (http://www.janimation.se/animations/ninosneak.mpg). I have removed the hip shifting wich was abit distracting

I actually want to keep the feet more like sliding over the floor, I donīt know if itīs wrong, but I like it :)

and maybe the animation is abit "uneven". I just thought it should be smooth when he is sneaking and then when he gets hit in the head, he gets nervous and therefore the snappy movement. I might be wrong!??

more feedback please! :p
