View Full Version : white light source, white object and a red room

let's say i have a white object in a room with walls painted red.
there is one white source light pointed on the object.
does it mean that the object will appear a bit reddish?
since the light lens suppose to hit the red walls and then to go to hit the object.
does the lens change their color after they hit the walls?

are there any good lightning tutorials out there on the net?

that picture depicts one of the initial renderings which used Global Illimunation algorithms to implement realistic lighting. GI includes various sub phenomena like radiosity,caustics etc. radiosity is basically the repeated bouncing of light rays off various surfaces, and caustics is color bleeding(the light falling on the red walls would allow the color to bleed to other objects in the scene). just observe the pic attached...explains everything..:airguitar :buttrock:
