Here's an idea,
take the same model, give it other colours, make the two face of against each other.
ya good idea, mybe with the complite environment ....

Nice idea there haim. I would suggest some more armour. I wouldn´t want to go out on the ice and meet such people with that little defense.
posting some wireframe....
and begining of adding body armor ,first in the legs .

I like the icy reflection effect !

try to make the head helmet more biger cause it's seams too tight to his head
09-24-2002, 12:39 PM
great job so far :)
I'd give him traditional ice hockey socks, all teh way up to the knees (i believe?). and I'd give him some arm padding, a nice arena and an audience would be nice too = )
hay thare !!!
posting some improvment ....
add the hands armor and the
blue opponent .
still working on the environment.....

First up, nice characters, good Anime type look, lots of potential with the concept too.
What you are lacking here is "extremeness" The characters have dopey grins on their faces and not twisted gurning emotional type expressions. In addition the poses (I know theyre twinned now) need to suggest action. Maybe one character has just slapped the spiky puck and it's ipaled itself in the other dudes helmet or something. One of the rules of animation is that "the pose should tell the story" so ideally this one still image will convey the sport and its "extremeness" Also do some work on the blue guy to differentiate him a little more. Just my $0.02 :) Keep at it, you have a good look going there!

As long they seem to be having fun.:bounce:
I like a lot that bloody hand: I love this kind of blak humor :applause:
I agree with MikaelP and Benno: more armour and more (extreme) expression could make yours a better image !

Hey haim, on reflection I think I prolly shouldn't have said "dopey grin" I really like your concept and I think you can make a really strong dynamic look with it. I'm not a flamer by nature so that was an aberration. Go on with it man, can't wait to see it developed!:bounce: :wavey:
thank u all guys ....
the litel problam with the blue player is that he is a copy
(wow !!! u say ... we didnt see...... :p )
becouse of this it will be preaty mutch hard to change pos
becouse they have no bones .... they build in this pos.
but its OK i have an idea that solve the problome and
add some extream sparks to the scene.
just wait and see ....
