Looks good, I am going to try that on my challenge.
BTW ::Waaa Lah:: is actually spelled "viola" I didnt know what you meant at first, it was fuuny.
Also, cool character, really simple, but good detail.

Yes, that's a wonderful tutorial-- I'm going to give it a shot right now. I'm also excited that Maya 4.5 can use multiple UV sets with bump and fur so now I have no reason not to isolate the head. And, incidentally, a "viola" is a stringed instrument in the violin family with a lower tone; "Voila" is French for "And there it is!"

Don't forget the `, so it's "voilà" ;) (Ok, I'm not sure if it's ` or ´... but anyways)

I can tell the difference between "your" and "you're" (a surprisingly difficult feat for the average internet user) but I can't figure out how to make an accent grave symbol on my US keyboard. Voodoo magic ;)

Goto Accesories -> System Tools -> Character Map
If you are a smarty pants and have character codes memorized all you have to do is type alt+<character code number>
alt+157=¥
All OSes have extended character sets, but not all online forums support them.
