Hi all,

I am an architecture student and I doing some researches about the Film + Architecture and how do these relate each other with their techniques.

The movie I am analysing is The Matrix. My objective is to retrieve from the movie some operational tools proper of the cinematography of the matrix and use them to "give shape" to my architectural project.

Have you got any ideas /suggestions about some "cinematography rules" useful to be instrumental in reading the space?

Have you seen the matrix? How do you think we understand the space within it ? Which are the cinematographic tools giving shape to the filmic space?

And Lastly, I'd like to map the camera movement trajectories of some sequences, is there any way to achieve it? Is it possible to do with some software?

Thanks for your support :)

Bye

Giulio
