For those of you who are wondering Mojok studios is, I am posting here to let you know a little about what we are trying to do. Mojok was started so that artist’s ideas and dreams could become a reality. We are creating a company that can find jobs for artists, help make them known and eventually we will fund or produce artists’ projects and movies. Our company does not believe that artists are given enough credit for what they do. For instance in animated films the star is usually said to be the actor who’s voice is being used, when really the star is the team that created and animated the figure. The audience doesn’t know many, if any cg artist’s names.
There are many artists who have ideas for movies or other projects that they would like to create but don’t have the funds. We are hoping we will be able to raise the funds to help artists create their projects and get recognition for them. We are also trying to extend our company to be world wide. We are going to try to make our new annual awards competition (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=211250 (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=211250) ) big enough to get some sort of coverage from newspapers or some sort of show or news and go from there.
We would also like to thank CGtalk.com for allowing us to post our competitions and news, this forum has been our most efficient means of contact with artists worldwide.
