View Full Version : mirroring objects
Kananga 09-20-2002, 10:44 AM I was just wondering, is there an easy and accurate way of mirroring objects in XSI. I've been attempting to mirror objects by scaling -1 along the X axis, which gives me a distorted version of the object. Sometimes BADLY distorted, and sometimes just not quite the same size as the original before mirroring.
Is there another way, a bit like the mirror modifier in MAX, which was always precise as long as your X-forms were correct. This is what Im after.

I assume you mean hit the freeze button on the panel, right? Does that do the equivelant of reset X-forms in max or something?
