Greetings, my real name is ben, and i have a little problem.

i have made a model of a mp5k in 3dstudio max for a half-life 2 mod that i am participating in.

My question is this: how do i animate the model so it can be used in the mod, or can it be left unanimated and still work?

i have the gun itself as one model, and the ammo clip as a second model, both are in the same file

any help, or just general tips for modding would be greatly appreciated.

Well dude I am working as well on a team for this game !!! and i am also modeling guns on 3ds max!!! what a coincidence eih... well i think that u only have to make the model as detailed as possible!

If the gun is gonna reload then u make the top part seperate, the clip seperate... and so on!
Dude get my msn so we could share some ideas and to see the progress 4 us to healp each other!!! i actually need some help cause its my first time modeling guns for a game 2... so i think we could help one another ...

There is a good video tutorial on modeling a gun (desert eagle) but it is high polly modeling, so i dont recomend it for game modeling!"3d-palace"
