That's a really nice drawing. I don't know how well this would translate into 3D, if that is what you are asking. I think that the mood of this piece comes from the sketchy style. I think 3D would look too smooth and clean. But, you can go ahead and prove me wrong, of course. Very nice drawing.

i agree with gilgamesh that the mood comes from the sketchy style, but it would still rock in 3d!

I don't think its necessary the "sketchy style" the sets the character off its the body position, facial expression and bike detail. If you can come close modeling wise and do some nice texturing it will be awesome.

there is a heck of a lot of detail in that image (wonderful by the way), it would take quite a while to even come close to the original in 3d... my 2 cents

i know something of this i just finished making all the parts of a motorcycle...
