Holy BAJEEPERS! That's awesome work! Yes, where are those 5 stars for this? Well deserving 5 stars...
Yep ... I've seen this before too. However, it's always good to the eyes and soul to see it again. Wonderfully executed co-op piece and one of the finest looking illustrations I've seen in the fantasy genre. 5 stars is just not enough for this one.
Gotta love that sword! :buttrock:

Okay, Itchi, I changed my mind...this IS a better pic than the original sketch of him was. The color just makes it all come together.:applause: :applause:

very nice image indeed! maybe some more depth wouldn't hurt.. only a tiny bit of gaussianBlur to the BG or some foreground element.
one for you

Wow...the details are incredible!
I especially like the flame on the sword.
Do you have any tips on how you did this?
Incredible!
Sometimes when things are coloured i don't enjoy the image as much... but damn that is awsome.

thanks for all the responses. woohoo and i got stars! some mod must like me :p okay not me but roundeye's coloring ^^
wildsheepchase, kirt, and sleepless> thanks a ton guys, and yeah roundeye really hooked this pic up! blew my mind when i saw it even in the first (that red) phase. i still look at it and cry haha. he is the man!
frog> haha thanks man! wow thats a huge compliment! thanks for the reply :)
werner> hey how's things going man? good to hear from you again and thanks for the kudos!
fellah>yeah maybe a gausian blur would seperate the elements more and give it more depth. but some people dont like using filter FX. i think roundeye didnt have time to "finish it" as he says but i love it loose like this personally :) good point tho.
say-g> hahaha thats how i was when i first saw the colors :p
yowchuan>i wish i could color anywhere close to this. visit roundeyes site at eatpoo.com and maybe you can ask him there.
EAP> yeah i totally know what you mean and i totally agree.
thanks again for the replies and comment guys, and for the stars mister mods! :scream:

um they're two different people. :) - The person who did it was roundeye.
BTW I should mention that you shouldn't post other peoples work - a link is fine, but I think its actually illegal to place his work here without his permission.
As for the artwork itself its absolutely stunning!
I love the sword more than anything. Background could do possibly with a bit more work though
:applause: :applause:
Great Stuff Roundeye!!

here i made a background blur, just to see for myself if i liked it better. but i think i prefer the original one.
I hope you don't mind that i post this, if you do i will kindly remove it.

This is SO incredible. If a gave you a character concept I have, do you think you'd be able to do it for me? That would be my dream come true to have him profesionally drawn by someone like yourself. But you're a busy person, I'm sure, so would expect it from you, naturally. If you did, though, I'd owe you BIG.

Wow!
Excelent colouring! Great job to both of you! wow!
The fire is really well done!
I like the two versions... but if I have to choose one... maybe I would choose with blur... it's cool! more than a 2D draw!

man this place is crazy! it took me like 20 minutes before i could even get on the site haha. dang this place is popular!
metalkid> haha yeah and actually i didnt even draw my avatar. a friend of mine, jeff matsuda, who is a comic pro did it in a comicbook collab we did and i loved it som much i use it everywhere :p
mushroomgod> hehe so many funny/cool SNs here :p woohoo thanks man!
dLotus> haha yeah what bjotto said. sorry i should have clarified in my original post. also i have it linked off of my server so none of his bandwidth is being used. but i totally agree with you in principle.
bjotto> thanks for the assist bro!
gametech> wow that does look COOL! i dont mind but i'll let roundeye know and see what he think :p like i said i think he had more important things to do so he didnt quite finish it up the way he normally would if it were a paying job.
ravenX> i would normally but i am so swamped with work right now i dont even have time to draw for myself saddly. but maybe sometime in the future when freelance season slows down and i only have one job hehe.
pabbloZ> thanks you very much, sir. thats a great compliment. yeah i love the way the sword turned out too. roundeye is a crazy good painter.....
HZLam> errr you gonna have to ask roundeye, i suck at coloring :(
miyamoto>yupyup the textures are incedible i agree. really made it sing! thanks man!
le_faya> heh i think he colored it once but showed the inbetween step with the red. hope that was the answer to the question :p
o-phile> hehe thanks man!
johnb> i have a feeling roundeye prolly only has a low rez version of this since he was just painting it for fun. but i would love to get a poster too heh.
thanks for all the comments guys! i'm gonna email roundeye and tell him to get over here ^^.

Wow! All the comments have been said. Good co-op work. Well there is one thing I have to say. I really like the way that even though its back lit you can still see the detailing on the front. It would be a shame to lose all that.

love-fest> cool another san diegoite! heh you will have to ask roundeye cause i have no idea how he did this :p
thanks again for the responses everyone!
I was sitting here thinking I've seen this character type before. Then i realized that it was your other work i was thinking of. This reminds me a lot of your resident Evil drawing.
You have a good working style, but i would like to see you go above and beyond and do something new. The outfits are easy to change out, but creating a new character would be more impressive.
Good luck!
