Hello
Wanted to get some opinions about this finished short.
A graphic opener for Norwegian Telvision Talk show "FØRST OG SIST" (translates "first & last")

Both stills and divX5/QT Sorenson3 versions can be downloaded from http://home.no.net/audunsa1/

The work is done using Maya, After effects for main comp and Flame* for filmgrain (5d) & final color correction.

Please please tell me what you think !!

In the still image the lighting on the rabbit appears to be brighter than the lighting in the background image, coming in with a slightly different angle. It's also hard to determine from the still, what the back ground image is supposed to be.

The background is the interior of a clock, gears are spinning as well as the clock hands. If you have the time the whole thing can be dowloaded from http://home.no.net/audunsa1/

You're right about the highlights. Also I should've done selfshadowing. I really wanted it to look like a superimposed character, sort of like and old cartoon style I guess. So I blurred it a tiny bit...

I like the background and the overall concept. If we go into the details then i think the animation needs to be better and most of all the camera cuts are not right, but the animated background looks cool..

keep it up...

I have to agree with aazimkhan on this one.. i've just seen the anim.. it could do with having a little more time spent on it, I love the background, just wondering how long you've spent on the project as a whole?

good work though :)
