HELP!! Character Rigging\Modeling

i am vary ceen to go in production but need a opening,can i have any Guidance,Suggestion or help from any one plz.....
I just started on 3DS Max 7 and I stink. Can any 1 fing good tutorials for 3ds max character modeling\rigging?
