Is there a way to edit the vertex normal? This is in a game modding situation where the model imported has funky normals on some of the vertex's. In any other situation, the vertex's could be deleted and recreated to clear up the problem, but in this case, the vertex is enveloped and UV mapped, so doing that would screw up the mesh as far as the game was concerned.
The normals are pointing down, 90-degrees from 'normal'. I think this is so that the faces in question will be black in the game with out having to texture those polys.
