Guitar Project - Suggestions?

For a noob, this is really good! One of the only crits I could give is that there is a hard edge around the body of the guitar. Really though, for a beginner, this is excellent. Some good textures will really add alot to this! Tons of potential man! :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

smooth out the edges on the guitar base, it needs to be more rounded.

Thanks for the comments/suggestions! I used the bevel tool to make the sides, I may go with a loft on my next model. Might be a smoother look.

hmm, im pretty sure you can fix the hard edge part by moving the middle edge down and then just applying a smooth modifier (or whatever Maya has, im a 3dsmax user).

P.S. if you dont get what i mean, ill try and draw you a picture. Im not entirely known for making much sense.

Thanks for the tip - makes sense! I am working on a bass guitar right now and I am experimenting with different settings in the Bevel and Bevel Plus tools in Maya. I can get the side smoother and I think with a little tweaking of the settings, I can get rid of that sharp edge on the top. Once I get it looking right, I am going to go back and fix the Telecaster(above). Thanks again!
