Mirage effect!?

speed six plugin in df (which is formrly known as 5d) i guess the name is also mirage or heat haze or else u also have a plugin in tinderbox known as heat haze.(but am not sure whether tinder box heat haze does support film res).

or you can make your own with say fast noise animated to be fast and contrasty and add diplacement node a play with numbers. Or make some particles like blobs and use that for displace....or use plugin
