Looks like a good model, but it is somewhat hard to tell. The overall black colour makes it hard to pick out the details. Your chrome, as well, struck me as too shiny until I saw that it was actually transparent, showing the background directly behind it.
Overall I like it, reminds me of movie where someone took such a truck and used it to haul a tanker full of sand in the Australian outback.

good work, but it still need some improvements
the truck seems to be a bit too dark, we lose a lot of détail...
The reflection for the cromic part seem unnatural. On some part it seems like if it was transparent, especialy on the bumper. i think your reflection map is on screen mode. it'll be better on spherical environement...
Nice job anyway,

Nice model... The only thing which does not look right is the chrome texture on the front grill. It looks more like a mirror than a chrome material.

I don't think the chrome is transparent. I think the problem is that he placed a picture in the background, not a HDRI. Therefore, the background is like a box with the same picture on each face, so what's behind is also in front and a reflective material looks transparent because it reflects the same thing that's behind it.

The chrome texture on the front grill actually seems transparent. The black texture on the truck seems too reflective and a tad too dark. I love the overall realism that you tried to create with this scene. Great job :)

The problem with chrome transparecy is because you used a simple picture as a background, not a HDRI. So the background is like a box with the same image on each face, therefore the reflective material reflects the same thing that's behind it, so it seems transparent.

The "transparent" chrome is due to the fact that you'ev set the environment map to "screen" projection instead of "spherical".
Also, I think you should set some super-sampling to the raytraced glass to get rid of the un-anti-aliased objects behind it.
Apart from that, I think your model looks a bit chunky, and it needs a bit of extra fine detail to make it look less toy-like.
One more thing - try to match the lighting a bit better with the background photo. The drop shadows are very dark atm.
Seeing you have such a passion for trucks, I know you will reach your goal! :)

Hate to bust your bubble, but also the truck itself looks transparant on my display. The white line that marks the road is visible troughout the enginebay up to the door.
agree with NauticaC with all his comments..
