Naseem 03-06-2005, 03:34 AM i was rigging the model and when i brought up the texture mode back i see this nightmare! any thoughts on what or how to fix this?

I'm no pro, but here's a starting point...
anyways, I'm assuming u modelled half, then mirrored, right?
did u delete history before you skinned? this seems to be the most likely reason, since after mirroring, there's a history node that might get messed with...
or, if u've clicked "double-sided" OFF, the lighting might do that as well...

thats just it i didint mirror it! some way along the skinning part it got like that

just delete the bad half and mirror the other half which is good
cant tell u how to undo the problem.. but this will fix it?? :)

i'm sure now that it happned right after i mirror wieghted the half. can any 1 tell me y this happen?
dunno, maybe the normals are the problem. Set them to face and see if this happen again.
Edit Polygons > Normals > Set to Face
