Just in the commercial break.
Very detailed and realistic work on the dragons. Wasnt totally sure about the inside of the dragons mouth (although my tv is kack).
Very nice animation. Especially when they had such a short turnaround.

I just saw a commercial on Animal Planet here in the States and it said March 20.
Also showed a making of clip in a commercial. THAT looked really cool. Hope there's a whole show dedicated to that.
Looking forward to it...

Hehe, just watching it now. Looks great, everything looks kinda 'desaturated' though. Is this just a simple way to intergrate the dragons into the background?
EDIT: Okay seems I was a bit premature to judge, those scenes in the forests in China were great. :)

Im not too sure about the whole scientist guy looking at a rubber dragon. Pretending to be clever about it.

I really like the way the dragon is animated in flight :)
The movement seems to move down the dragons body in a wave, looks good and realistic to me.

The flying scene approaching those orange mountants was very very good.

agree, I was realy hoping that at the end the scientist was going to find a live dragon (in hibernation or somthing).....and get killed. I found him realy realy annoying.
other than that though the effects where realy good

I just started watching it through the middle... I can't believe how much CHEESE is in it.. the animation is pretty fair quality.. nothing special at all.. v.average
sorry if it seems that I am putting the show down....I AM!! they should have left out all the scientist scenes and I might have thought better of it but they had to add the extra cheese in..could go on but I think i've said enough now.

I thought it was ok. Worth a watch. It made me want to watch Reign Of Fire again.
The scientist guy was a bit crap. He should have got eaten forsure.

Ok firstly I'd of cut everything. Apart from the dragon and the dinosaur.
Then in place of the scientists, had a swat team armed with p90s, m249 minis, m4s, and msg90s.

Dragons Vs Predator !!!
They have the strobing, so-close-that-you-can't-see-anything fight scenes nailed at least.

I thought the color correction between the dragons and the scenery was a little poor at times.
Who would climb a mountain in a leather coat and jeans? Was there much point wearing a bluetooth headseat in a cave? Surely hard-hats would have been more sensible.

The only bit which just really annoyed me was the bit with the merc's attacking the dragon. Thats where it completely screwed up in my opinion. Just seemed..lame. There were also issues with lighting and compositing in that scene.
Its shame, because CFC did such a good job on most of it. I think it was the writers that let it down. To be fair.. you cant just make a program for the sake of making a program with cg in it.

Loved it, as did the wife (who is mad about Dragons)
So at the end, who was hoping those pictures he got were of a live dragon? :D
My wife, (a Dragons of Pern avid reader), though the mating flight was a green and red, or maybe a bronze and green? Loved the way the incorprated that though, linking it to the way some hawks do a mating plunge.
Also liked how they came up with a family tree for Dragons to explain the different types.
Of course, as we all know, Dragons are real, so why didn't they just go out and film some? ;)

I agree! Some of it needed a touch up. Overall I found it average at best, worth a view as it was interesting at times, but nothing I would watch again.
