Character Animation in 3D - Steve Roberts

That is for both Maya and Max. My other books aren't application specific, and are just animation techniques. There again, those techniques work within any 3D application!

lol gruri...with that i could almost start a bookstore.
Mas a vida cá em PT tá cara...

i can only buy a book for the moment(already spent 50euros in Pete Draper's book this month)
so from the books i saw, seems like the one from Steve Roberts seems like the one who matches more closely my description. But i want to ask one more thing since i couldnt find out from amazon reviews, does that book include Character acting/performance? I ask this because i mainly want to be a human(at least humanoid) character modeler/animator.

anyway thanx for the fast replies so far

Hey Fabio!
If u can only afford one book, then I strongly recomend Richard Williams, The Animators Survival Kit.. Fantastic Book, a must have. I keep going back to it, over and over again.

Cheers

I agree. Both books are the animator's bible, a must have IMHO. I recommend you to study first The Animators Survival Kit. Regards.
