The Funimator 03-04-2005, 11:30 AM Hallo everybody out there...
Me new to this place. Me consider myself as beginner level for 3D. I rendered this with 3DMax7.
Me done this with some simple modelling technique and simple texturing.
Please give your most cruel critic. I'm ready for it. hehehe.... :P

Hey duded.. kewl model and textures you got there ... the only thingi think is abit off is the actual phone (ear piece) maybe you could texture the actual speaker rather then the blue part...Overall its pretty good dude... keep it up !! (wouldnt be a bad idea either play and call ya girl friend makes things much easier)

The design needs a lot of work. It looks like one of those mid-90s PC joypads or a xbox controller and a jaguar controller got married. A more streamline design would be much more affective. Ear piece is very 80's and old school spiraling cord seems a bit out of date too. BTW, all buttons and ear piece, how does the game play, imagination? I strongly suggest you study today's cutting edge technology designs and take another go at this.
Your materials lack any real depth. This isn't the best example, found it real quick in the finished 3d section:

Noticed how, even though the alan key is black, it's not totally absorbing the light, and has a light, noisey depth. Though that is meant to be metal, any plastic cell phone, game controller, etc, has that very small, noisey depth. The text reads very well.

Hey funtimer !! I think the model is coming up good, you gotta work on speculers and difuse. If u want to show it highly shiny then offcorse there ll b some reflection also / or if u wanna show it bit matte finish then u can more work on mid level lights ...
 cya
