View Full Version : Texturing Help
daphnev 03-03-2005, 07:22 PM I am trying to texture a chair with a slip cover on it. I cannot quite get it too look exactly like cloth(cotton). The slip cover needs to be quite tight over the chair and in the meantime it should still look like cloth. I scanned a material and used that as my texture but it still does not look right. I am texturing it in Max and I have also created a diffuse and bump map. Anybody have any suggestions?
thanks so much

You may want to post a render or two just to show us what you mean otherwise we can only guess what about it doesn't look right.:)
Hi guys,
I am new in texturing. I was asked to texture a character and with a given guideline as following:
3 pcs 256x256
1 pcs 128x256
I wonder how the masters out there will divide the character to these 4 pcs of UV maps.
Thank you very much for the help.
