Hi all,

I normally don't do cross-posting, but on XSIBase I didn't receive answers yetand I'm a bit in a hurry with this ;)

so.....

It's late..again..... and my brain isn't working anymore it seems. http://www.xsibase.com/forum/YaBBImages/angry.gif

I have this fairly simple rendertree with two materials in a mixernode, one material is receiving a texture. The materials are then weigthed by a B/W version of the first image. For my bump I have a 3d bump setup. All this is working, even when I add a texture projection for the two textures.

Now.....when I want to adjust my texture and add a subprjection, my 3d bump is messed up.
I cannot see the reason for this, so I'm hoping I can lend somebody braincycles for a moment.

If anyone has an answer to this,

cheers,

rob

OK, I solved it. It seems that subprojections are kiling my 3Dbump Texture Projection in the proces. A way to overcome this is to pipe the bummpmap generator directly into the bump of the first material, here named "skin.
The 3d bump is now preserved, you can edit your texture on the second Texture Projection. And it will mix very nicely. Also freezing all the TP's will not destroy any mixing of bumps.

cheers,

rob
