Title: Paint Can
Name: Eduardo A. Gutiérrez Pérez
Country: Mexico
Software: Animation Master, Photoshop

I did this for my dad, he needed a 3d image of a paint label he designed on an aluminium can. The tricky part was to make all the white elements of the label transparent, so you could actually see the metal instead of white. I used four lights, two maps (one for the label, the other for the transparency), the default chrome material of Animation Master and about 20 minutes of render.

Crits and opinions are welcome.

Well, I think that the can looks good. If modelling a realistic can was your intent then you nailed it. I also think the label looks very professional. I guess the problem I have is that it doesn't seem like the can all by itself is enough. Maybe think about adding some other items or maybe just more cans. It also looks like the background is a bit graining but they may have been intensional.

The only thing I noticed was the amount of grain in the image. I like the paint can, and the label looks very professional. One thing I would add is a handle to the can, so its easier to carry :) Great job!
