I'm rendering a bottle of wine, and i need to fill it with red wine...
The problem is with the wine, because it looks like plastic...
I'm working with 3D Max 6 and FinalRender... (i'm noob in fR)
What's the propper settings for the wine?..

You will need to turn on raytracing and get some reflection and refraction happening. Probably best to start with a refractive index 1.3-1.5 ish. And if you can add some fresnel falloff at the edges that will help.
Most real photos of wine use large soft boxed lights so it might be worth using area lights if you have them using large white cards placed on either side of the glass. These are also good for reflections.
