hello,

i've been working with photoshop in order to touch up and color my cartoons. i use plain bright white printer paper and a Sharpie permanent marker to ink. i just need help perfecting my coloring skills. thanks

I just noticed the fine white lines tracing the inside of the hair. First, do you know how to seperate the channels for greyscale to color underneth your lines?

well, i've read a few tutorials on it but could make absolutely NO sense of them. is there a good spot for tutorials that don't skip steps? i'm not a photoshop idiot, but i am far from a master

i did this a while ago, and now i am seeing that my shading makes little sense as well...:annoyed:

Hey your right, I didn't notice that the shadow on the face is in the same direction as the highlights in his eyes.

I would check http://www.comiccolors.com if you haven't tried already. I wouldn't mind typing it myself if it wasn't so dang involved, I don't like typing a whole lot. And tutorials for P6/7 are like having someone tell you how to fly a plane on an intercom to bring it down safely.
