Hi all..i am working on a female character(SEE MY SIGNATURE),Now i am texturing it and i decided to select various parts of the body and assign a different shader to each one.For example i select the arm, i create a quick selection set and assign a blinn shader,Then I create a planar mapping(or cylindrical or spherical..it depends from what i need) and set the option that creates a new uv set on.Now by the uv-centric uv linking i link this uv set to the blinn texture and place it to fit the texture to the arm..then i do the same thin with the whole model, with the other parts such the torso ,the legs etc...
now i am having problems with the colour map that results wrong on the torso...but not on the head and on the ears..there are some polygons that seems not mapped..i tried to delete the uvs from the default uv set(map 1) but nothing changes..
IF SOMEONE READING THIS THREAD HAS EVER DONE A WHOLE HUMAN BODY MAPPING PLEASE COULD TELL ME THE TECHNIQUE USED?TNX!
