I like the look and the color technique, a little jagged with the lines, albeit that could be apart of the image impression I guess. But honestly, the concept doesn't do a thing for me, its just another painted naked chic on the web. Is there something you could do to entice the reader into believing the title fo the piece? Like maybe her hands are hiding something and you just see blood trickling down her arm. or a hip tatoo of a Samurai commiting Sepuku (sp) that type of honorable suicide etc... just something, to tie it in. Especially if your going for an illustration for a storyline.

???
How'd you go from this (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21339) to this illustration and that (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21443) one?!? It looks like two different people did these images. These soft peachy colored ones are nice to look at (except the pixel edges) ... don't get me wrong. But that first image doesn't have the same skill or quality to it.

If you all will notice the artist's name is "lonelypixel" hence the look of the piece. The drawing is done with pixels, not drawn in the conventional way of vectors, etc. Maybe it was originally created in vector and then pixelated or posterized later, either way, the style is great, and the subject matter is even better :scream:

Mucha all the way! Great diversion from the mainstream style of today. Keep it up and you may start a new trend (or actually resurrect an old trend).
