Well here is the character as promised. I'm finally getting the hang of this:bounce: (<Wee!). Tonight, I'll work on the first panels, and see how many pages I can come up with (I'm hitting at least 2 pages). And I have the written piece already done. It was supposed to be sent to "Writers of the Future Contest", only to be sent back to me as "unclaimed". Anywho, I ain't giving up on this. I have no idea what the turn out will be for this post...but expect more to come.

Hmmm...for a rough sketch, he looks like exactly what I had pictured him to be. I still need to tweak something though (I don't know what it is yet). I'll know as I go along...

Is this going to be your WIP thread for the comic strip challenge? If so, we'll need to change your thread title. It should be:

THE COMIC STRIP! : yourname year : title

As for the strip itself ... character looks good, but what's the idea behind the book?

I've seen this drawing in 2 other threads ... I'd suggest not posting images in other members threads unless they're ok with it (forum ettiquette - thing) and concentrate on updating your own thread if you're searching for more feedback.

Right now there's not enough here to critique.

Loulu - If you've got the writing done, can you post a small sample so we can get more of a feel for the characters? Any other character or environment sketches? It's hard to comment on this sketch since it's not a WIP that a stand alone picture that you'll be working on until it's finished (or is it?) and there's nothing distinct that he's either doing or wearing. Bear in mind that the more images you post the more we'll get to know your characters and the more attention your thread will draw.

Good luck!

This is my first time WIP/Thread...so I need to get clear on the rules. As for the character/feedback...thanks. You know what...I'll do just that. I'm not quite sure what makes him stand out. But I notice when I'm writing, drawing or painting the character, the characters themselves tell me what's so unique about them. Thanks u guys.:)

Visionist: Thanks. How do you know I'm inspired by the anime form? I didn't intend to make him too 'japanesish'. I'll do more and more practise. They are all written down in type up form. It's a matter of giving them much more of a solid character(s).

Kirt: Thanks. I wasn't sure what to do with myself lately with this comic strip thing...I'll work on that.

Likesoup: True...This is my first time posting like this fashion. So bear with me. Drawing them makes me blush...
