Hi,
I want to know if there is a way to get a color image to show up through the translucence property of a material. Like you would see for a bat’s wing with the sun behind it…
http://www.bellingen.com/flyingfoxes/images/blue_evening.jpg
So if I have a color texture like this:
http://www.members.iinet.net.au/~steffects/WingTranc2.jpg
And a translucence texture like this:
http://www.members.iinet.net.au/~steffects/WingTranc1.jpg
Can I get this result if I have a spotlight shining from behind?:

Instead of this, which is what I get by using a greyscale image in the translucence channel:

Any help much appreciated.
