View Full Version : All white background
olioli 03-01-2005, 12:05 AM I've been trying to render out a model I have with an all white background. I see this all the time around here, but I don't know how to make it happen. Would anyone know how.
Thanks.

1. select the camera that you want to render through
2. Then go to the camera attributes
3. look for environment tab, and simply change the color to white :)

There is a shader for this called usebackground or something like that, its the last one in the list in the hypershade (under phong etc, etc)
This does what you want with the added benefit of removing the plane/floor from the alpha channel but leaving shadows and reflections in there.
When using it it replicates the colour of the environment, so you need to set the environment colour to the one you want.
Here's a crappy visual I did for someone using that shader:

You can barely see the reflection, but the shadow is prominent enough for you to see.
