The animation is great fun!!
The only things I would change, are only to make it look better. Smooth out the meshes a bit, and I think, for some reason, it would make it even more funny if you gave the characters a bit of a plastic/matte-y look, so it turnes out to be a really cool cartoony fun thingy movie :D
good work!

I don't know how it is compressed, but it can never hurt to download the Nimo Codec Pack somewhere..
[oops, hope this isn't warez, if so, plz tell me...]

Looks good! Couple of things... I know it's supposed to be cartoon like, but the ball looks really stretchy? Maybe you should make some of their expressions/reactions after bumping each other a little more extream. Jumping up and down, waving of arms, ect... also, the initial bump itself, it doesn't quite look like they touch, maybe make them hit one another a little harder? Since we don't know what exactly they asked to see, it's hard to give advise, but the movements are looking pretty good overall, I'd just push them a bit further

The animations is pretty good, but I can't tell what's going on. I got that the guy with the box bumps into the other guy, then it looks like the guy with the ball is looking around for what hit him, and for some reason he can't see the other guy, then the guy with the box jumps into his view. Then for some reason the guy with the box runs away, and the guy with the ball figures he has nothing better to do than to copy him and run with him? If that's what's going on, good job, if not I think it needs some work so it makes sence.

The overlapping action seems too be a bit over done(although this might be the look you're going for). The heads especially are too wably. It seems like they are two balls on rubber sticks. The running in the air also seemed a bit too long for my tastes. My two cents...Generally, looking pretty good.

The animation has a good start, although I would keep working
on it since it is a test. I agree with babyhopper, the overlapping
action is a bit too much. Seems a bit too slow at times, like they
are moving on the moon (a lack of believable gravity > excluding the cartoony element). In addition, the box looks like it is floating. Every detail counts on these tests. On a final note, I liked the animation, but I was confused to the purpose of their movement. Why do they run away???

You could do one of two things here. You really need to tighten up the animation as people have mentioned already. You have got some bad interpolations going on in both your characters. They look like Marionettes. Like they should be hanging on strings.
With that said, you could go in and fake a bunch of strings.
And you need to make more sense, there is no story there for us to see. You may know what it is but it isnt coming across to us clearly enough.
Good start, but I recommend more work is need.

I would tone down the "Croaching Tiger Hidden Dragon" hang time you have going. I know what your trying to do, but your taking it way too extreme.
