hehe, no I don´t think anybody of our jury members think they are the best. We only have a nice jury I think. We have Professional and experienced Graphic and Product Designers (over 5 years of experience). We have pretty good Modeling and Texturing Artists (I´m counting myself to the texturing artists :D and see Andreas Calmbach who made the "Vespula Germanica" and is the original founder of the german www.c4d-treff.de and who is also a pretty good animator). We also have Mr. Fahrnholz who is Texure Creator (Aging and MetalDisc and has also a lot of experience) and we also have freelancer and also for the technical part me, for I am also programmer with 2 years of C4D experience :)

Nobody of us claims to be the best (who can say something like this anyway?) but in the mix we think we have the ability to choose some pictures that we think belong to the best of Cinema 4D.

The Jury members do not even know to whom the picture belongs for the name is not shown in the internal voting booth. Only the name of the picture and the picture itself.

This makes sure nobody´s favored by anybody. But I guess none of the judges would favor any pic anyway.

The mix makes it ;) Submit and HAVE FUN!

noticed also one of my m8's is on the jury too :)

shame i'll never get to display there i spose. i model everything in Autocad. I only use c4d for rendering. here are a few recent rendering examples i done, look at the STRAT selection - http://www.cgarchitect.com/challenge/challenge2.asp

Nice, nice. Pity you are not using C4d more. Pretty nice lightings anyway (done in c4d I guess)!

So Samirs gallery will have not so much pictures, but only the crem de la crem (samir nicht hauen, wenn ich das falsch geschrieben habe :)

yes and no. Cinema 4D is the only app you should have used for the 3D part. Compostiting can be done with any other app of course. We don´t care about this. But the pictures shall represent the very best of Cinema 4D and not the very best of CG Art. :)

Yet another one! Is this a virus to come up with such sites every few days! Why are you posting such stuff! You won't get cinemas best artworks 'cause there is no best of cinema4d! "ARTIST behind application"? Ever heard of this?

Have you noticed how voting for a challenge is done over here?
User give a vote! Not industry professionals! They vote one nice new images? The give their critics, do comments! Presenting images that i think all of us have seen 50 times before on any other board or forum is not cool anymore!

But that´s also why we will not discuss this in any way.
