Hello,
I'm the creator and lead programmer of the Sketcher project (http://sf.net/projects/sketcher), an open source (freeware) program for collaborating on images while taking part in chat. In ways it's similar to the network functionality in older versions of openCanvas, except that this is client/server-based, it's all written in Java and the client is an applet (it runs in web browsers).
I'm here to announce that the system can be downloaded here (http://sketcher.sf.net/). It's in development, but it's now useable enough that we're using it over at Artgrounds (http://www.artgrounds.com/%3C), an art hosting site I recently started (free registration, and even a free webmail account if you want it).
So, I guess that's all I wanted to tell you guys.
Cheers,
Thor.
